The Bearcat Cager Club, your boys’ basketball booster organization, welcomes you to the 2009-2010 season!
This Club was newly formed in June of 2009 and has been very busy working to achieve our main purpose of supporting the Boys’ Basketball Programs within the Huntingdon Area School District. Our TEAM consists not only of the players and coaches, but also many individuals with a genuine interest in not just the game itself, but also in the personal and athletic development of the fine young men representing the HASD on the hardwood. To that end, the BCC encourages good sportsmanship towards the sport officials, opposing team members, and our out-of-town visitors at all home basketball events.
We have been, and will continue to be, busy raising funds to support our teams. We have been extremely pleased with the response of our community individuals and businesses – and we express our sincere gratitude. Everything we do – we do for the entire program. The BCC welcomes Coaches John Los and Ken Robertson back into the Bearcat Basketball family. Change requires us all to keep moving forward – looking forward to the challenge, the season, and all the excitement it promises to bring!
Once again, we will be working with the Cheerleader Boosters to operate a Concession Stand at all home games. We ask that you support our combined efforts which directly benefit our respective programs.
The BCC would like to thank the HASD Board of Directors and the Administration for all of their help, support, and understanding over the past few months as we embarked on this new BCC adventure!
